OVERVIEW
As the wool market flourishes and consumers are becoming more curious about where their food and fibres are coming from, the Goode family approached me with the need for a logo.
It was important to use a detailed line drawing to accurately capture the care they have for the animals and the qualities unique to their Marinos - “their open face with no wool, plain body, no wrinkles running down their neck and their round, meaty body shape”. These features are what the Goode family have worked so hard to achieve with their easy care, no intervention, sustainable farming practices so we worked hard to get the illustration correct.
The date of establishment was included as it demonstrates their many years of experience, with the clean sans-serif typeface reflecting their forward-thinking, contemporary approach to farming.
